The aim of the European
research project “EUROIng.” is the development of a postgradual qualification
for foundry engineers from Middle- and East European countries in order to compensate
the lack of qualified personnel within the West European foundry industry.
Besides foundries from Germany and Poland also associations, universities and
educational centres from Germany, Spain, The Netherlands and Poland play an
active part in this project. This project is cofinanced by the European
Community Vocational Training Action Programme LEONARDO DA
VINCI.
The official start of the project was
1st of October 2004, the activities started in the middle
of November 2004. Since then the project is now in full swing and several important tasks have already been put into
practice. The project finishes end of March 2007. This website was made to give you more detailed information about the project and its partners.
